Brian Hickey is vice president of Insuractive, an Omaha-based company providing direct-to-consumer Medicare plans, life insurance and wealth protection to individuals. Brian holds multiple financial certifications including Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) and Certified in Long-Term Care (CLTC).
Since joining Insuractive in 2007, Brian has provided strategic direction using a deep knowledge of Medicare, life insurance and long-term care to develop Insuractive’s brands — Medicare MarketPlace, Life Insurance MarketPlace and Medicare BackOffice. He has provided strategic direction.
Brian came to Insuractive more than a decade of experience in strategic and sales roles at two of the nation’s largest insurance companies – Coventry Health Care and Mutual of Omaha.
While at Coventry, Brian created and developed brokerage distribution partners just as Medicare Advantage and Medicare Part D prescription drug plans were first introduced nationally.
Brian received a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Corrections from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
