Marguerita (Rita) Cheng is a proponent of competent and ethical financial planning, actively involved in educating the public, policy makers and media on its advantages. As the CEO of Blue Ocean Global Wealth, a financial advisory firm, Rita helps individuals achieve their life goals through effective management of financial resources. Her focus is on guiding people through challenging situations such as divorce, death, career changes and caring for aging relatives, empowering them to feel confident and in control of their finances. Rita takes pride in making a meaningful impact on the lives of others. Additionally, she generously volunteers her time as a SoleMate, or charity runner for Girls on the Run, fundraising to provide scholarships for girls.

Rita holds prestigious certifications as a Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) professional, a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor® (CRPC®), Retirement Income Certified Professional® (RICP®) and a Chartered SRITM Counselor (CSRIC®). Previously, Rita served as a spokesperson for the AARP Financial Freedom Campaign and currently serves on the Board of Directors for CFP Board.
